The cost of Mercy.
This is a continuation of the story begun in the novel "The Illuminator". It picks up the story about 25 years later. The Reformation is gathering strength and the Catholic Church is stepping up its persecution of those who wish to read the Bible for themselves in the comman vernacular. There is a passionate love story,lots of intrigue and adventure and well written historical detail. I really liked this book.
