A "gem" of a book
DK's Eyewitness series is generally very good. This book is particularly fascinating. I bought it for my 6-year-old, but I ended up reading just as much as he does.
Ever wonder how a diamond is cut and polished? It's in there.
You never knew there were so many different types of beautiful and crazy-cool crystals.
