This copy, or edition, printed in 1916 or later, despite the date at the base of the title-page, as evidenced by the bound-in vitae and portrait of Ranger preceding the title-page which lists his date of death as 1916. An exceptionally clean, tight and fresh copy. Inside on inner flyleafe is the printed statement "Compliments of Newcomb-Macklin Co Picture Frame Makers." The cover title is "Art Talks with Henry W. Ranger, N.A., and there is nothing printed at the base of the spine.
