Enjoyed #1 in the series, so ordered #2 and #3. The author has done a nice job of showing the relationship development of the main characters in that they do not run off immediately and get married! There are obstacles to overcome with them being on opposite sides of the Civil War issue, her "interesting work," and family issues. The plot is developed nicely alongside the relationship and character development. Fun light reading for those who appreciate a little mystery combined with good values and the challenges in living a godly life. Just started #3 and look forward to seeing how things turn out for these young people. Have fun!
