This book has it all, fear,boredom,excitement,sadness and any other emotion associated with war. The descriptions of the air battle highten your senses and make you feel involved in the battle. The prison camp chapters are descriptive and give the reader a sense of the despair in what the enemy can do to make life just bearable. All in all this novel kept me picking it up because I wanted to know the full story.
