I purchased this book because the movie "The Missing" was based on this book. A great western story and it will keep you on the edge of your chair and you don't want to put it down. Usually when a movie is made from a book, you are disappointed with one or the other. Not so in this case. I enjoyed both, just enough difference to make the two enjoyable.
