Very Good. Signed Trade paperback appears to have been signed by author on the title page. The book is very good with shelfwear, lightly bumped corners, and a bit of light soiling to the bottom outer page edges. A nice example of a scarce book. This book cannot be shipped to Canada. Expedited international shipping is not available. The delivery expectation for international shipping is 7-32 business days, depending upon customer location.
Fine. 0954839900 2005 signed and inscribed first edition, Mathew and Son (London), 5 1/4 x 8 1/2 inches tall paperback, copiously illustrated with full color and black-and-white illustrations by co-author Williams, 344 pp. Signed and inscribed in the year of issue by both authors on the half title page. Otherwise, a near fine, like new copy-clean, bright and unmarked-of this limited edition release (2000 copies) of a book later issued as Tunnels, which went on to become a publishing sensation. Much sought-after by collectors, especially in such nice condition. Only this original Mathew & Sons edition has the beautiful and haunting color illustrations in the middle of the book. ~EE~ A critically acclaimed subterranean fiction novel by British authors Roderick Gordon and Brian Williams, re-released as Tunnels by Chicken House in 2007, the story follows Will Burrows, a 14-year-old 'archaeologist', who stumbles upon an underground civilization called The Colony. Will and friend Chester flee The Colony and set out to find Will's father, in the Deeps, a place even deeper in the Earth than The Colony. It is the first book in the Tunnels series, and was followed by Deeper (2008), Freefall (2009), Closer (2010), Spiral (2011) and Terminal (2013).
