Sporck has done a good job sharing the info he gathered from the shakers and makers of the IC / Silicon Valley history. If you worked in this field, as I did, you will enjoy the characters and some of their stories of the 'wild old days".
If you want more technical info on IC's, I highly recommend "The Chip" by T.R. Reid.
But for a 'good read', get "Spinoff", it is worth your time and money.
