Choosing for her debut album a program of violin show pieces, transcriptions, and encores, Canadian-born Shannon Lee quickly proves she has the skill and dexterity to make her way around the violin. Her technique is put to the test with the very first track -- Wieniawski's Scherzo-Tarantelle -- one of the composer's most demanding short pieces.
