The artwork in High Tide is in the spirit of the work of Peter Max only more refined and visionary. The main story is based on a short story by Hermann Hesse. It is truly a masterpiece of book illustration. I have attempted to find out more about the artist but he appears to have disappeared in the mid 1980's after his second book and a few poster projects.
