The Indian King Tavern, a significant Revolutionary War site, was the first historic site purchased by the State of New Jersey. In 1858, the discovery in Haddonfield of the first nearly intact dinosaur created a sensation in the world of paleontology. Today Haddonfield has again evolved into a suburb known for the qualities of its residential and educational resources.
