A very good clean hard cover first edition with light shelf wear, but cloth color faded on the back cover at the fore-margin and spine, hinges and binding tight, paper cream white, but some minor soiling to the fore-edges. In a very good, moderately edge worn dust jacket with price clipped. A very nice reading copy.

Book has bumped bottom corners, lightly bumped spine ends, and a touch of edge wear. Both pastedowns and endpapers have toned edges. Pages 303-rear endpaper have a damp stain at the outer edge. Jacket has minor edge wear, a sunned spine, tears, and chips. Front panel has faint scratches. Spine has a hole. Inside jacket has clear tape covering tears.
