Not bad and not so far away from the first one, i like mercy more than in the first installemnt. I´m glad to say this series seem to be getting better and the characters more substantial.

Not too deep, but good afternoon escape.
In this sequel, most of the characters are not explored any more than they are in the first book. Everyone does things that, well, seem to be expected. The opening scenes of the book caught me, but the rest of the book was cliched. If you're looking for an escape into the world of the paranormal, with a little humor and suspense thrown in, this is the book for you. If you looking for a meaningful walk through humanity's underside, this isn't what you want. Overall, I enjoyed the book, a good escape from the daily humdrum of life.
