This Grogan Has Done It Again
Maybe it's a Grogan thing. But there are two authors, John Grogan and Leander Jackie Grogan, whose new works I buy almost on automatic. This new book by Leander confirms my corny system works to perfection.
First, I was blown away by the little book, Exorcism At Midnight; not so much the spooky stuff but the profound insight and self-examination it forced on me. Then came this big book so heavy I needed the ghost of James Michener to help me hold it up at night. It was ten times the content and a hundred times the enjoyment.
The book was billed on the raw side of the track. But I believe it reflects the essence of our internationally connected melting pot society; reminding us not everyone is born to a middle class family with an eye on attending Harvard. No matter, people find a way to survive. And that is the beauty of this story. We get a front row seat into their unorthodox methods in a murky world existing below radar...the innovation, treachery and love. A "must read" for all.
