This book is a must read! Emotional Core Therapy helps people identify their core feelings and provides individuals with healthy ways of dealing with everyday situations and more difficult challenges that people encounter throughout life. The four authentic feelings of Joy, Grief, Fear, and Relief is a very simple way of recognizing true feelings and being able to process them appropriately. This book has helped me tremendously and I highly recommend it ? A big thanks to the author (Bob Moylan)!!!

The Last Self Help book You will Ever Read!
I was very, very impressed with reading Emotional Core Therapy. In my opinion, this is the last self help book you will ever need to read. Why! ECT (Emotional Core Therapy) is the simplest and most effective psychology approach out there. This book has changed my life and it will change yours. I have read most of the self help books out there including books by Oprah, Dr. Phil, Tony Robbins,and Stephen Covey. They all have their merits but they can't compete with Robert Moylan's a approach to having emotional stability and emotional power. Mr. Moylan's book is built on years of experience and wisdom. Modern day stresses can tax the human spirit. Moylan shows how to combat these daily stresses before they become toxic or debilitating. The "ECT" "Emotional Core Therapy" approach is so simple, almost anyone can learn the process. This psychology approach which has never been used before teaches the reader to love oneself and then learn to
indentify, process, and release the four true feelings that occur to us under stress in relationships. The author hammers home the concept of loving oneself by learning to have a peaceful, reflective, and meditative state of being. These four authentic feelings (joy,grief,fear,and relief) arise when you enter and leave a relationship. When you go towards something you like their is joy. When you leave something you like,there is grief. When you go towards something you dislike there is fear. When you leave that event/relationship there is relief. The book shows though various cases how to stay emotionally balanced and to have "real" emotional power! Where in psychology literature have you ever heard or read about their being only four authentic feelings? This approach is new and works to perfection. The highlight of this book is to see that these four true feelings are just temporary states of being and are separate from ourselves. The author,a former teacher, demonstrates to the reader how to do this through various cases he has treated successfully. Because the reading is so realistic, you learn to grow and trust the process. This book shows the reader how to attain peace while living in the real world! Not hiding or escaping from real world stresses. The book is very thorough and shows scientifically how the mind and body can eliminate this stress successfully.
ECT will, over time, become the most common psychology approach used by both therapists and everyday people. Why? Is is more easily understood and effective than some of the common theories out here( Adlarian, Family Systems, Cognitive Behavioral, Etc. Clearly, this book is a breakthrough book in the field of psychology and self help. I highly recommend this book to anyone who desires to live a full and happy life

Great for the Mind! Good for the Soul
The book basically stimulates your mind and body by examining how relationship stress occurs. I can now forsee problems before they occur and recognize their impact. You dont put your hand on the stove! Why? Pain. The same is with the ECT process. Why have emotional pain when you can learn from it? This book teaches you preventative ways to mange stress. I highly recomemend this book!

Excellent Self Help Book
I am we'll read when it comes to psychology techniques. This book is revolutionary in it's simplistic approach to understanding human emotions. I have not ever heard of the concept of identifying and processing the four true feelings(joy ,grief,fear,and relief) The author does an outstanding job of highlighting how a person can gain emotional power and balance by being familiar with these core emotions. This book offers excellent cases where the author treats clients successfully using this approach. This book is for real. I like it much better than the other self help books out there.
