Illustrated by Margery Gill. Fine in Very Good dust jacket. 0460050818. An excellent copy of this edition, with illustrations by Margery Gill. The book itself is quite flawless. It has a charming design of an old-fashioned girl in a swing, which repeats on the endpapers and also on the boards. The jacket is not edge-worn, but it is price-clipped and a little scuffed. A mylar Brodart cover now protects it. This is the first printing of this edition (the book was first published in 1872), according to the stated practice of the publisher, but it is very early for an ISBN number. They must have been introduced that year (I've never seen one earlier than 1969). So, this book is special in more than one way!
