B&w illus in text, some colour plates showing prepared dishes. Quite a good reference for food facts, ingredient information, cooking and freezing techniques, and recipes. For example "Dikoya" is explained as a type of Black Tea from Ceylon and "Les Aydes" as a French cheese made in the Orleanais; there are seven recipes under "lentils" and eight recipes for "Okra".
