Very Good. No Jacket. 5 1/2 x 8 1/2. 248 page hardcover, the first volume in a collective edition, the plan of which is to include all surviving Anglo-Saxon poetry. Text is in Anglo-Saxon, but that is preceeded by an introduction and bibiliography in modern english. Full green cloth exterior (spine color is lightly sun-faded), with title on spine in gold. Interior has prior owner name on front free endpaper, otherwise unmarked, tight and clean. Copyright 1931, but a later printing around 1980. The Anglo-Saxon Poetric Record I.
