Only Orestes' appeal to the goddess Athena saves him from his mother's Furies, breaking the bloody chain; together gods and humans inaugurate a way of just conduct that will ensure stable families and a strong community. I have not yet read the book, I personally got it for school as a textbook. I was very happy with the price and when the book arrived I too was happy with what great condition it was in! :)
