Pages clean except for a short gift note on the front free endpaper along with a raised seal from the Hemingway House in Florida, as well as foxing around the outside edges; binding square and secure, hard cover only modestly softened and rubbed at spine ends, more lightly rubbed at heel edges and corners. Jacket is priceclipped with a small inky spot on the front interior flap and foxing around the front and rear flap edges; there is also a label at the middle front from the Hemingway House, age-toning and a small scuff at the spine, and chipping with small tears and creases at corners, spine ends, and heel edges, otherwise clean and sound, now protected in a clear sleeve. 161pp.
