This cookbook has a lot of recipes for items that I would not traditionally think of for a slow cooker, (soups and side dishes.) I have tried two of the meat offerings, one was great, one needed a lot of tweaking. As the nature of slow cooking tends to water things down and dilute flavor, you really need to know your own cooker to determine times, not necessarily follow the suggestions.
Photography is beautiful, pictures are inspiring, would have prefered more ideas that don't include 1/2 hour of pretreatment.
