Helpful if familiar with grant seeking Oct 28, 2011
The book is for someone who is already somewhat familiar with grant-seeking. It dispels common myths of grant seeking, walks you through setting up a "grant seeking office", the information you need to ask of your non-profit organization that is seeking funding as well as what to look for in foundations for possible funding matches.
Particular helpful is the resource section with forms to guide the grant seeking from start to finish.
I read this book for a college course that introduces professional writing which covers grant seeking for part of the course. I don't think it is the best textbook choice for a quick paced course on grant proposal writing.
