Tony Benn

TONY BENN is the longest serving MP in the history of the Labour Party. He left Parliament in 2001, after more than half a century in the House of Commons, to devote more time to politics. He is the author of many books including nine volumes of diaries and the childhood memoir "Dare to be a Daniel." Tony was married for 51 years to Caroline who died in 2001 and has four children and ten grandchildren.
