Theodore Dreiser

About the Author American author Theodore Dreiser (1871-1945) was a journalist and writer of the naturalist school. His novels often revolved around characters who succeeded despite their moral ethics. His situations sometimes resembled studies of nature, Dreiser's best known novels include Sister Carrie (1900) and An American Tragedy (1925). He was nominated for the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1930.
