Raymond Oliver

Raymond Oliver is of Welsh-Azorean descent and grew up north of Boston. His first adventure in formal education was at Phillips Academy, Andover, where he discovered poetry and mastered a great deal of German, which led him not quite happily to get a B.A. (Oberlin) and M.A. (Wisconsin) in that language.
