Ray Guy

Ray Guy was a reporter and columnist at The Evening Telegram in St. John's from 1963 to 1974. He has been credited with helping turn Newfoundlanders against the authoritarian rule of former premier Joey Smallwood, whose policies Guy ridiculed and mocked with humour and satire.
