Professor Tom Marshall

Tom Marshall is the author of four widely acclaimed novels. Born in Niagara Falls, he attended Queen's University, where he became a professor of Canadian Literature. He was the funding publisher of Quarry Press in 1965. Soon after completing The Adventures of John Montgomery and the Rebellion of 1837, Tom Marshall suddenly died. He was a direct descendant of the hero of this novel, and the ancestor of Lucy Maud Montgomery, and a proud resident of Kingston.
