Philippe Garnier

Philippe Garnier was born in Le Havre, France, in 1949. For twenty-nine years he worked for the French daily Libération as a cultural journalist. As a translator he has introduced many American authors in France, including Charles Bukowski, John Fante, James Ross, and James Salter. He has also interviewed many literary fi gures and film personalities on French public television.
