Noel Peattie

Noel Peattie (1932-2005) centered much of his literary work on rural life in the Capay Valley in northern California. A gentle and authentic voice for the region, he wrote of it rhythms and shadings with pride, candor, and sensitivity. Among his published work are five collections of poetry, a small book on sea monsters, and a novel.
