With degrees in English and music, Nan taught for many years on both the high school and college levels. Not only is Nan the co-author of introductory programs in the performing arts, but also the co-translator of one-hour English versions of well-known operas. All these works were performed live on stage in many schools throughout the NYC area. Nan has also edited a book of spiritual reflections as well as a college text on nursing and biology. Her creative output is most diversified. She is both a published author and composer.
