Michael Norman
Michael Norman coauthored the first edition of Haunted Wisconsin in 1980 with the late Beth Scott. They also coauthored Haunted Heartland , Haunted America , Historic Haunted America , and Haunted Heritage . His own books include Haunted Homeland and The Nearly Departed: Minnesota Ghost Stories and Legends . Norman is professor emeritus of journalism at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls and a former newspaper and radio journalist.
