Mel London

Sheryl and Mel London are the authors of eleven cookbooks and were winners of the James Beard Cookbook Award in 1994 for A Seafood Celebration. They test their recipes at their homes in New York City and Fire Island. The Gourmet Garage began as a wholesale business flying fresh food in daily for the chefs of New York City. A retailing sensation once it opened to the public in 1992, the shop quickly became a New York institution.
