Jose Abreu Felippe

Jose Abreu Felippe, (Havana, 1947), went into exile in 1983. He has livered several years in Madrid and since 1987 resides in Miami. He is a poet, narrator and a playright. He has published three volumes of poetry and has won the Gaston Barquero International Poetry Prize (2000). He has published numerous plays, and two volumes of stories. He has also published, in collabration with his brothers Juan and Nicolas 'Habanera Fue'.
