Dr. John White

John White is a lifelong sports fanatic who has dedicated his spare time, and his computer, to compiling an impressively comprehensive database of sporting facts and figures. He is the author of all of the previous dozen or so titles in the Miscellany series and compiled White's Sporting Almanac 2008. An Irishman from Belfast, he has ardently followed the Tour since compatriot Stephen Roche won the yellow jersey in 1987 and another Irishman, Sean Kelly, was the World No. 1.
