John Montagu

John Montagu is an editor, writer, aid worker and, since 1999, an elected hereditary peer. Born in 1943, he went to Eton and Trinity College, Cambridge, getting a degree in History, French and German. He worked in Europe before joining the Bodley Head as an assistant editor in 1966.
