Ilse Weber

Born in 1903 in Wikowitz, then Austro-Hungarian Empire, later Czechoslovakia, Ilse Weber became a well-known children's radio entertainer and wrote three books for children of which Mendel Rosenbusch is the last. She also composed and sang songs, accompanying herself on mandolin. She married Willi Weber, a pioneer in what was then British mandate Palestine.
