Harry Gruyaert

Born in Antwerp, Belgium, Gruyaert started as a director of photography for Flemish television. But photography soon took over as it was more adapted to his independent disposition. He undertook editorial assignments from National Geographic, Geo, Fortune, Vogue and i-D amongst others. Gruyaert's total immersion in the color and landscapes of Morocco earnt him in 1976 the Kodak prize.
