Hannah Newton

Dr Hannah Newton is a social historian of early modern England, specialising in the history of medicine, childhood, and the emotions. She undertook her PhD at the University of Exeter in 2006-2009 on the subject of 'The Sick Child in Early Modern England'. Dr Newton is now based in the Department of History and Philosophy of Science at the University of Cambridge, as a Wellcome Trust Postdoctoral Fellow.
