Georges Moustaki

Georges Moustaki developed a passion for philosophy, music, and literature after being immersed in a melting pot of races, religions, and sounds of the cosmopolitan city. He worked many odd jobs before he managed to dedicate himself fully to music. He composed "Milord" for Edith Piaf in 1958, which brought him to prominence in France, and later reaccelerated his career with the composition of "Le Meteque," his greatest hit.
