Fernando Saralegui

Cuban-born Saralegui, a former set designer, has spent 25 years in the restaurant business at such well known establishments as Olive in Los Angeles, and Raoul's in Soho. He was owner and designer of Flatiron favorite ALVA and L-Ray which brought "Gulf-Rim" cuisine, a blend of Cuban, Louisianan, Texan, and Mexican fare, to New York's West Village. He is currently the Executive Director of the Texas Hill Country Wine and Food Festival.
