Erwin Brecher

Brecher had a varied education, during which he studied mathematics, physics, engineering, economics and banking in Vienna, Czechoslovakia and London. He majored in psychology for his Ph.D. He joined the Czech Army in 1937. He worked for De Havilland on aircraft design, and in 1946 formed a number of companies active in international trade and finance. In 1972, he became CEO of an international financial group with offices in New York, Rio de Janeiro, Switzerland, Athens, and Istanbul.
