Emmanuel Guillon

Emmanuel Guillon studies philosophy at the Sorbonne and lived and taught in Southeast Asia for seven years. During four years in Burma he studied Mon culture and took his Ph.D. with an emphasis in Mon history. In the late 1980s he turned his attention to Cham culture and carried out extensive fieldwork in Vietnam. Today he is acknowledged as one of the world's foremost experts on Cham culture and history.
