Douglas Webb

Douglas Webb was born in 1922 in Leytonstone, London. He joined the RAF when he was 18 and served as an air gunner during the War and was awarded the DFM (Distinguished Flying Medal) for his part in the famous Dambusters raid. After the war he joined the London news agency as a staff photographer, eventually moving on to work in the film industry.
