Henry Kyd Douglas

Henry Kyd Douglas was born in 1840 in Shepherdstown, West Virginia (then Virginia). He graduated from Franklin and Marshall College, and, in 1860, was admitted to the bar. He was the youngest member of Stonewall Jackson's staff, was wounded six times, and on more than one occasion was cited for bravery. At the close of the war he was in command of the Light Brigade.
