Margaret H. Dickenson has a degree in Foods and Nutrition from the University of Guelph. For 29 years, she has accompanied her husband, Lawrence T. Dickenson, in his Canadian Foreign Service postings around the world. She has taught gourmet cooking for the Ottawa Board of Education and Algonquin College, Canada. She is "conseiller gastronomique of La Chaine des Rotisseurs, the international gourmet club.
