David Sokol

David M. Sokol, Ph.D., has had a forty-year career as a professor of art history and a museum professional. He earned his Ph.D. at New York University, taught in New York City, and has taught in the Department of Art History at the University of Illinois at Chicago since 1971. He continues to direct the Museum Studies program he founded more than thirty years ago. He has served as the curator of the Otto Neumann Estate for the last twenty-five years. He resides in Chicago, IL.
