David Skipper

David Skipper was born in 1962 and grew up on a housing estate in the heart of industrial Teesside. He says of Life on the Line, "I grew up around a railway and so a lot of the events and places in the book are real, including Twenty One Arches and Suicide Leap, although unfortunately the Arches have now been demolished because they were considered a danger to adventurous children.
