David Mitchell

DAVID MITCHELL was born in Lancashire in 1969. He grew up around the Malvern Hills in Worcestershire and studied literature at the University of Kent at Canterbury. A former bookseller, he began to write during an eight-year stay in Hiroshima, Japan, between 1994 and 2002.
