D S Chambers

David S. Chambers began research in Italy and the Vatican in the late 1950s and has since spent much time in Italy. After teaching mediaeval history at the University of St Andrews, in 1969 he was appointed a Lecturer (later Reader) in Renaissance Studies at the Warburg Institute in the University of London.
