Clyde Bolton

Clyde Bolton retired after forty years as a sportswriter and columnist with the Birmingham News . Prior to that he had written and edited for the Anniston Star , LaGrange Daily News , Gadsden Times , and Montgomery Advertiser . He has also written eighteen books, winning the 2011 Clarence Cason Award in Nonfiction Writing for his achievements. Bolton and his wife, married for fifty-four years, have raised three sons and live in Trussville, Alabama.
